Women's Equality Day
Celebrated every year in the United States on August 26th, Women’s Equality Day marks the anniversary of the 1920 adoption of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote. And as we celebrate this holiday, we think of those incredible women who fought for the right to vote and are continuing to fight for equality in the workplace. But, there’s another type of equality that we can thank brave ladies for: sexual quality. Without the tireless work of some badass girls in history, single woman would still be expected to be celibate. We wouldn’t have access to the contraception. And we’d probably still think women can only climax when someone sticks a penis inside of them.
